Groove Academy is growing out of all proportions and we are looking to increase the team to accommodate the present rush and to expand the organisation into other areas.

Positions available

Assistant teachers - to support the teachers with dance instruction, class management and to run small break off groups that require help.

You need to have rhythm, be able to communicate to a group, have a positive disposition and love people.

We will give you the time and skills to perfect the dance discipline and teaching points.

Teachers - to manage your own dance classes and the support staff with you. You will need to have a dance qualification and experience instructing. As this position rewards you with a commission structure, you will need to have a passion for the people that attend your classes to ensure a healthy wage.

We will support you with the Groove business structure of planning, equipment, and training.

Receptionist - If you have been enjoying the classes and want to become a part of the team, but don't know where to start. This is the position for you. Would you like to be part of an energetic evening and increase your social circle of friends? We are looking for happy, friendly people to manage the reception area for the classes. This will mean handling cash, keeping the Groovers informed of forth coming events and being the happy start and finish to the Groovers experience, every visit. This isn't a salary position, but you will have the chance of free dance tuition every night. You could even job share!
