Wow! What can I say? July has been an amazing month for Groove Academy. I relaunched my Monday classes 5 weeks after the birth of Maeva and have had an amazing response to both Cuban Salsa and Rock 'n' Roll. I also restarted teaching on Thursdays alongside Dan and I'd like to say a massive 'thank you' to him and Eveline for the holding the fort in my absence.
This month has seen 10 new customers start with Groove and we look forward to seeing their dance journey with us! We've also had lots of returning customers who we haven't seen for a while, so it's nice to see them back with us. Rock 'n' Roll was our most popular class this month at nearly full capacity! There's still spaces if you'd like to join us though.
As I'm on maternity leave from my full-time job, this has left lots of openings for private lessons during the daytime as well as evenings. July has brought two lovely wedding dance couples to me who are both getting married in August. They are doing extremely well and if you come to our classes in August you may get a sneak peak and be their first audience during their final lesson!
I've been fortunate enough to get out and about teaching and social dancing again. Mani's had me back to teaching in Leamington (can you spot me in the picture?), where I will be appearing regularly over the next coming months - the next time being the 13th of August. If you ever fancy going social dancing, please just get in contact with me and I can either let you know where I'm going or point you in the direction of the nearest event.
